if u wanna falala with me...

Hahaha. That title was one of the lines Rai sang during the SGEM talk in NIE today. Rai as in the one from Jack and Rai, the local duo act. so weird, the song...something like if u don't wanna falala with me, I'm fine doing it alone... something like that! Anyway, first day of the enrichment program done! 9 more days to go! Still, I should appreciate these times cuz they will be hard to come by!

we had a talk on financial literacy which was, to my opinion, a freakin waste of time. I think they really wanna stretch the dollar they spend on teachers, that's why...sigh...

yes...that boring!

but today, i feel it was a time well spent cuz I got to meet Shasha and erm, erps, Qayyum! Ade Jr. that is! haiz! verrry verry cute u know!? u see urself! haha!

I think he'll grow up to be a fine young man, handsome and intelligent, just hopefully, he won't walk like his Abi! hahaha! inside joke... -.-

Good gathering, greater company! :))

Well, I will end on a positive note altogether. NIE results, was beyond expected, Alhamdulillah. I am very happy, I can sleep peacefully tonight. :)))

Stairway to Heaven

By Je Suis Rai · May 28, 2009 · 0 Comments · 7 Views

Did I mention before that I wouldn't wanna start on Korean dramas again, lest getting addicted and simply cannot stop watching? I think I did but I've obviously broken the rule (what rule!?) and finished watching Stairway to Heaven. Ok so everyone's saying that Boys over Flowers is a must watch, but I cannot stand the metrosexual boys and the golden monkeys hair...because I still love the traditional looking. sighsss.

The storyline, I must admit, is verry super sad, the saddest I've seen; Heaven's Coins, Hikmah 1 and 2 combined! NEEDLESS to say, I cried like there was no tomorrow, I cried like someone has passed on, in every single episode, really! My guy friend from NIE had also watched it and he cried in every episode too, siaoness! In all honesty, I practically choked on my tears the part where Han Jung-Suh lost her eyesight and had not seen her love of her life for the last time. Kaoozzz that was like...sedih gils babs cannnnnnn.

I'm really catching on with the Korean craze, and well, long for Seoul! Haiyaaaaa, are there no nice French dramas so I can long for Paris? haha. gila. If u're a fan of sappy tear-jerker shows, go catch this one at mysoju.com

As pretty as she can be, my current fave oppa has to be Sang Woo-ppa! heh

and okay, i love the intensity and the suspense that this song brings...especially when it shows Cha Song Ju walking out with his 6 or 7 bodyguards. hahaha!

The Remedy

By Je Suis Rai · May 24, 2009 · 0 Comments · 3 Views

"When I fall in love
I take my time, there's no need to hurry
When I'm making up my mind
You can turn off the sun, but I'm still going to shine
And I'll tell you why

The remedy is the experience, this is a dangerous liaison
I says the comedy is that it's serious
This is a strange enough new play on words
I said, the tragedy is that you're going to spend
The rest of your nights with the light on
So shine the light on all of your friends
Well, it all amounts to nothing
In the end

I won't worry my life away
I won't worry my life away"

Bridal Chamberlain

By Je Suis Rai · May 24, 2009 · 0 Comments · 1 Views

I've so much time to spare, that I think I may not be spending them wisely. In fact, I've been drafting out plans, asking random people about their own wedding plans, watching Fullhouse again and well, disturbing others. So, whilst doing all of the aforementioned, I also drafted out the design for my bridal chamber on PSCS4. Verry not fun. I wish I can simply cut out from magazines and make a scrapbook, but I managed it on PS anyway...something like a moodboard u can say...but verry amateurishh.

I was very adamant with sticking to my own room for the bridal chamber (BC) what with my hugest stakeholder fighting for her room to be in the limelight instead! I must say, it was quite a battle. haha. Yes, my hugest stakeholder of all is my mother. we have clashes of ideas, hers and mine. she wants drapes and heavy curtains while I prefer symmetrical designs that are elegant and timeless. So how now brown cow? I still insist on my wants, unfortunately. We'll see how it goes...on the day itself, we'll know. hahaha.

But anyways, above is my drafted bridal chamber, typically with a sparkling chandelier and lots of cushion and flowers! I have no freaking idea where I'm gonna get that headboard but still again, we'll see how. The bedspreads are Sheridan inspired; the "She" collection. and the bedside lamp is Laura Ashley...By the way, Laura Ashley has just opened its flagship store locally and can be found at GWC! So So SOOO gonna go there soon! Thanks daisydee. :)

So yes, there'll be more posts of wedding preparations ahead, I shall forewarn all. You can't blame me, I have nothing else to talk about, apart from the fact that I'll be going to the zoo for the third time in the last three months... -.- another entry on its own for that one! Besides, when you want to get married, my blog will probably help you out a little. who knows. shrugs. :)

ok then, till laters!
