It has been almost a month on, from the wedding, and I still enjoy looking at the pictures that capture great moments of our union. I think a lot of people had made it possible and successful...and to mention all in this entry, would not suffice. The two day event (plus the stray days before and after) went by in a blink of an eye, yet I am lucky to have engaged a wonderful photographer (plus assistant) who took brilliant photos. Farr! You should get them! :))
I think i had THE record number of bridesmaids! given that it started from just 5 to 7 to 9! Hahhahah! If possible, i'd like all my close girlfriends to be my bridesmaids! My mum actually scolded me for not including Diana and Shasha, one my life long neighbour, the other a really good friend! So I apologize! I will make up to it one day, insya-Allah I will...maybe a souvenir from Europe...hur.
So okay, actually I just want to share some photos of the days, and at the same time promote the great photography skills from nuprofotografi.org. Rest (not all) of the days' photos can be viewed here.
I came across this video and instantly fell in love with the concept. wayyyy modern and unique! also reminded me of fidza somehow. maybe it's the spontaneity.
anyways, my wondergirls will have to perform at my wedding, that's without a doubt! one of the pics must bear a wondergirl pose okay! haha!
bridal chamber update? at point of typing...GORGEOUS! and it's not even friday yet! haha.
other wedding update? Hassan's baju nikah looks like baju budak sekolah. hurhur. sajak lah tuuu!
further wedding update? I seriously hate sending out wedding invites, and i bet i must have forgotten to send someone or invited someone. sigh. my apologies in advance!
work update? GREAT! i don't want it to be something i say too early, but i love my office company. it's the kind of friendship i won't wanna lose. no office politics please!!!!
okay 5 more days!
can someone tell me what else i must do 5 days before the wedding besides pray, pray and pray more!?!?!
Found this on Glamchic and i thought it's sucha unique idea to have ur wedding bands imprinted with ur spouse's fingerprint. only u have one of such rings!
Perhaps we can make a set for ourselves when we go to London for honeymoon?! For now, dream on!
My all time favourite hero has been non other than Jude Law, since Gattaca. Actually, it was Ethan Hawke who was THE hero in Gattaca but I don't know what made me like Jude then. So I was surfing pain-au-chocolat(!)dottumblr and i think he's like maha hot here. eeeeeee! hah!
and to think i'm getting married in less than fifteen days! haha! and speaking of kahwin, the room is finally taking shape, when I sacrificed lesson planning to vacuuming every nook and cranny of the room, and wiping clean every speck of dust! sure feels like sleeping in a hotel tonight, with yours truly herself as room service! Gah! What's left to do would be the curtains, the headboard, the chandelier and the extra padded fu(ller)ton mattress to pump up the bed and then, and only then will my wish of my very own bridal chamber come true!
13 days to go!
...And the wonder of it all is that you just don't realize how much I love you
I've so much time to spare, that I think I may not be spending them wisely. In fact, I've been drafting out plans, asking random people about their own wedding plans, watching Fullhouse again and well, disturbing others. So, whilst doing all of the aforementioned, I also drafted out the design for my bridal chamber on PSCS4. Verry not fun. I wish I can simply cut out from magazines and make a scrapbook, but I managed it on PS anyway...something like a moodboard u can say...but verry amateurishh.
I was very adamant with sticking to my own room for the bridal chamber (BC) what with my hugest stakeholder fighting for her room to be in the limelight instead! I must say, it was quite a battle. haha. Yes, my hugest stakeholder of all is my mother. we have clashes of ideas, hers and mine. she wants drapes and heavy curtains while I prefer symmetrical designs that are elegant and timeless. So how now brown cow? I still insist on my wants, unfortunately. We'll see how it goes...on the day itself, we'll know. hahaha.
But anyways, above is my drafted bridal chamber, typically with a sparkling chandelier and lots of cushion and flowers! I have no freaking idea where I'm gonna get that headboard but still again, we'll see how. The bedspreads are Sheridan inspired; the "She" collection. and the bedside lamp is Laura Ashley...By the way, Laura Ashley has just opened its flagship store locally and can be found at GWC! So So SOOO gonna go there soon! Thanks daisydee. :)
So yes, there'll be more posts of wedding preparations ahead, I shall forewarn all. You can't blame me, I have nothing else to talk about, apart from the fact that I'll be going to the zoo for the third time in the last three months... -.- another entry on its own for that one! Besides, when you want to get married, my blog will probably help you out a little. who knows. shrugs. :)
